The Municipality of Paombong , headed by Mayor Maryanne Marcos, through the Municipal Public Employment Service Office conducted Job Fair with a theme “Trabahong handog kaagapay sa pagasenso ng mga Paombongenyos” held last July 5, 2024 at the 3rd Floor Function Hall, Municipality of Paombong to boost employment opportunities for the jobseekers in the municipality.
Mayor Marcos extend her gratitude for the support of DOLE and excitement for the success of this program thru her Welcoming remarks.
The jobfair was also attended by key persons from DOLE and Provincial PESO. Moreover, Engr. Egbert Robles (PPESO-Department Head), Ms. Leilanie M. Reynoso (DOLE Bulacan-Provincial Head) and former LYDO Engr. Ian Mark P. Marcos gave inspirational message for the jobseekers.
Furthermore, PESO has tapped various companies and agencies to participate in the said event. This job fair is one of PESO’s many employment facilitation strategies, especially for the new graduates from college.
A total of 12 participating agencies/establishments agencies participated in the job fair and offered 2,265 job vacancies and registered 121 job applicants.
This Job Fair was organized in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). It also offered other services such as One-Stop-Shop-Processing with the participation of selected national government agencies such as DOLE, SSS, DTI, TESDA, NBI, BIR, PHILHEALTH and PSA.
